Rabbit’s Foot
Rabbit’s Foot: Petal Oasis Wine Collection 2023 is a line that represents each grape with different flowers. Each type of grape is associated with its flower in its essence, color, and tasting notes. The deliverables are six wine bottles, a brochure, an advertisement poster, a canvas tote bag, and stickers. This project took 100+ hours to curate.
Wine has become an interest of mine recently, and I felt like this project would be a great idea to help advance my skills in knowledge about wine and graphic design. From this project, I learned there are different types of regions, tastes, and foods to pair with. As a graphic designer passionate about wine tasting, I find myself uniquely positioned to merge two worlds: The art of visual telling and the nuanced flavors of fine wine. Designing wine labels becomes more than just a professional pursuit. It is an opportunity to express the personalities of each bottle through my creative lens.
Brand Identity
Rabbit’s Foot is a women-owned vineyard in Sonoma County, California, with a mixture of old and new world traditions. According to the Asian Zodiac, 2023 is the year of the rabbit, which is the inspiration behind Rabbit’s Foot’s mascot. This brand’s orientation focuses on womanhood and elegance. The wine industry is heavily male-dominant. The inspiration comes from Martha Stoumen, a pioneer of the natural wine movement.
The monochromatic colors of burgundy, abstract graphics, and typography embody individuality, intensity, power, and sophistication. These colors look best against neutral colors.

Sketches along the way…
I have created many variations of different sketches for each deliverable. Eventually, these ideas would be narrowed down to one draft and then into a final piece.
I used digital watercolor through Photoshop for the flowers and bunnies. I digitally sketched them then I painted over them with a special watercolor brush. The brush is called, Kyle Big Texture Rough 2060.
